The first Saturday of every month Home Depot offers a free kids workshop. These workshops are so fun, they are geared toward children ages 5 and up and are a great way for kids to work with tools and build on their own (or with a little help). The workshop is open from 9am to 12pm. Be sure to register online through workshops.homedepot.com On your child’s first visit they will receive their own kids workshop apron and a pin for the build. This weeks build (June 7th) is a riding lawn mower and next months build (July 5th) is a bug house.

Happy Building!

Her collection of pins from workshop builds she has completed. When 10 builds are completed your child receives a special pin. My daughter is only one away!

Some of my daughters completed builds. Also some builds come with an extra little gift, like the Lego set in the picture.
