This Saturday the 21st at the San Diego Botanic Garden is the Fairy Festival. This event is included with admission to the Gardens. Kids are encouraged to come dressed up and there will be fun crafts. The event runs from 10am to 4pm and the Garden is open from 9am to 5pm. The Gardens has more events scheduled for this summer you can see them here.
Even if you can’t make it to the Fairy Festival this Saturday try to stop by the Botanic Gardens soon. The Gardens are so beautiful. It is so nice to just walk and take it all in. My kids especially loved the treehouse in the children’s garden. They raced boats down a little stream and left their artistic mark on the chalkboard wall.
In addition to the Children’s Garden there is also another area with activities for kids. My son was so excited to play with the miniature train and to find dinosaur eggs. This area was located near the entrance of the park, away from the Children’s Garden.
So be sure to check out the Botanic Garden soon!
