It’s Halloween Time at the Parks!

From Disneyland to Knotts and from Sea World to Legoland its Halloween Time at the Parks. There is Trick or Treating, special events, holiday decor and more! Each Amusement Park has their own unique take on this spooky fun season. So here is what is going on at many Southern California based Amusement Parks.

Disneyland

Disneyland transforms much of the park for each holiday season and Halloween time is no exception. There is holiday decor through out the park and limited time themed treats and merchandise. The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain also take on the Halloween fun. The Haunted Mansion has been taken over by Jack Skellington and his friends much like the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. While Space Mountain takes you on an out of this world ghostly experience. And on select nights you can party and trick-or-treat with Mickey and his Friends during Mickey’s Halloween Party. This is a separate ticketed event that encourages guests to come dressed up and trick-or-treat through out the park, check out ghoulishly fun live entertainment, see Mickey and his Friends dressed up in their costumes.

Knott’s Berry Farm

Enjoy family fun at Knott’s Spooky Farm on weekends all October. This is the complete opposite of Knott’s Scary Farm offering non-scary fun geared towards children ages 3 to 11 years. Trick or Treat throughout Ghost Town or join the costume contest and dance party in Camp Snoopy. Bug out with slimy, slithery, crawlerly creatures at the Creepy Crawler Cabin. Or check out the whole Gang in “The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown” at the Camp Snoopy Theatre. All this spooky fun is included with general admission.

Legoland

Vampires, Witches and other ghouls have taken over the park! The park is decorated for the holiday and there are special trick-or-treat trails when you join the fun of Party Nights. On Friday and Saturday nights join in on a bricktastic Halloween party during Legoland’s Brick-or-Treat. Enjoy live entertainment, special treat stations, costume contests, dancing and more. The party has expanded this year to Heartlake City and Fun Town. There are still stations throughout SEA LIFE Aquarium as well as Wanda’s Jelly Fish Disco where you can jump and jive the night away. There are two ticket options; choose from All Day with Party Nights or Party Nights only (which is perfect for those looking for family fun on a budget). Brick-or-Treat is a great Halloween time event for the whole family.

Sea World

Sea World’s Halloween Spooktacular is going on every weekend until November 1st. Kids can come dressed up and trick or treat throughout the park. Trick or treating starts at 11am on event days. Stop by the Mermaid’s Grotto to meet and take a picture with some enchanting Mermaids. Play in the new kinetic sand bar or join the fun at the dance party hosted by DJ Cotton Candy. Don’t forget to check out the two Halloween time shows; Clyde and Seamore’s Big Halloween Bash and Sesame Street’s Who Said Boo?. Best part of all is children are FREE to the park with a paid Adult admission all October!

Have a Spooktacular time at the Parks!
