When you stay at the Great Wolf Lodge you are booking more than just a hotel stay. Even the rooms are more than just a typical hotel room. There are wonderful family suite rooms complete with a den for your cubs or a cabin to give you the feel for the outdoors.
The main attraction and what sets Great Wolf Lodge apart is the indoor waterpark. There is no worry about weather conditions here. There is cabana rentals available, waterslides, and attractions for all ages. The best park is entrance to the waterpark is included with your stay!
Speaking of inclusions, there are quite a few activities included with a stay at Great Wolf Lodge. From character meet and greats to story time and a forest friends show, will help to make your vacation a blast. And there are plenty of other attractions to keep your kids entertained.
Like I said a stay at the Great Wolf Lodge is more than just a stay at a hotel, it’s an entire vacation spot itself! So be sure to check out this newest addition when it opens in February 2016.
My family had the chance to visit DropZone Water Park this Saturday May 24th for the parks Grand Opening. DropZone was kind enough to offer free entry on this day during one of the three scheduled timed sessions. You had to pre-register for a session to be able to attend. Since it was a free event my family and I knew to make sure to arrive early to ensure our spot. There was a computer glitch that had led to over registration but that seemed to only affect the second session whose time slot was from 12:30pm to 3pm. My family attended the third session, time slot was from 3:30-6pm, which seemed to have no issues with entrance to the park. The employees did seem disorganized and had a hard time with the immense amount of guest who arrived for session two. Though they tried to get as many guests in as possible into that session, there was just too many. I think if it wasn’t for that computer glitch things would have ran more smoothly. For my family’s experience though we had no problem with entrance into the park. Once inside we found a great spot with two lounge chairs under an umbrella near the splash pad, pool, and Lil Jumper’s Landing. We grabbed a life vest for my toddler to use, the park offers free use of their life vests that range in size from tots to juniors. There was a good amount of seating and shade available. Near the concession stand was a shaded dinning area. Also near by was plenty of lockers for rental in which your locker key is on a bracelet that you can wear without worry while you enjoy the park. Nearby the lockers was the restrooms and showers. The park is not insanely big but a great enhancement for the local community. My daughter and I rode all the slides and the lazy river. My toddler loved the splash pad and Lil Jumper’s Landing. It was also nice to be able to relax in the pool there. We didn’t happen to really check out the lap pool, which is available for swim classes or recreational swim, or the Flowrider, which you can bodyboard or stand-up surf on, maybe our next visit those will be our first stops. Overall we had a really great time. I would recommend anyone local to be sure to check this place out. If you do plan on checking it out be sure to grab their awesome deal on Groupon.
Have some fun in the sun!

This Saturday May 24th is the Grand Opening of the new Chima expansion at Legoland Water Park. This new section is based on the popular “Legends of Chima” series. The expansion to the park features a wave pool, water cannons, slides and much much more. My family and I went to the Water Park last summer and it was amazing. We can’t wait to visit the park again and play in the new area. Legoland’s water park is perfect for all ages. The park provides life vests for little ones. There are locker and changing rooms near the entrance. If you plan on spending most of your day in the water park you may want to see about a cabana rental, which would give you a space to keep your belongings and a place to rest during your visit. You must reserve the cabana before your visit by going online to california.legoland.com Be sure to check out this new expansion to an already fantastic water park!
